Fishing has picked up since our last report. We have been fishing south between the 55’s & 54’s and the 35’s & 40’s. The down temp is starting to cool and we have been marking big schools of bait and lots of fish. They haven’t started their fall feeding bindge yet, but if the water stays stable the big feed can’t be far off. It has been a spoon bite fior us. We have had only one meat rig bite the last two days. Our best out down baits have been a pair of regular size Dreamweaver Green Dolphins down 65 or 75 feet and a pair of old school Yeck Wart Frogs down 75. We’ve been running a 11″ White Dreamweaver Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly on the chute rigger between 90 & 120 and it’s taked a fish or two each day. Today we ran spoons on all four wire divers. Our best diver was a high wire out 260 with aregular size Fuzzy Bear Yellow Tail. We had out several cores & coppers . We took fish on 5, 10 & 12 color cores and 250, 300 & 350 coppers. A regular DW Beefeater on a 300 was our best copper.
