We set up in the same location as yesterday, 01’s in 130 fow. The graph was pretty clean, but we figured the further north we got the more fish we would see. It didn’t work out that way. We got to the 02’s and only had 2 bites & 1 fish. That came 65 down on an out down with a pair of regular size Fuzzy Bear Yellow Tails. Yesterday we caught most of our fish in deeper water so we headed out to 180 feet and deeper. Boats that had the best early action were fishing from the Point to the 06’s between 80 & 130 fow. The fish were up higher in the water column today. 5,7,8,& 10 color cores all took hits. Our best rods were a 10 color core & a 350 copper with glow spoons. We took a King 110 down on the chute rigger with an 11″ Dreamweaver Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Only 2 meat bites, one on a high wire out 150 with a 10″ Mountain Dew Spin Doctor/Cold Steel Big Water Meat Rig and the other on a 10″ Show Time Spin Doctor/Blue Moo Meat Rig out 110 on a low wire. We got out as far as 400 fow, but the action was not near as good as yesterday out in the deeper water. We took most of our fish between 130 & 160 fow.

Good fishing again today. When we left the harbor this morning we saw several boats headed south and some going straight out. We opted to go north and set up in the 01’s in 130 fow. We didn’t have a morning flurry, but the action was steady all morning. We only had 1 rigger that was taking fish, the chute with a 10″ White Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. We started out running it down 110′ and when we moved out to deeper water we had it set at 130′. It took several fish. Our hot rod was a 8 inch Show Time Spin Doctor/Blue Moo Big Water Meat Rig (pictured right) out 220 on a high wire diver. The other high wire with a 10 inch Mountain Dew Spin Doctor/Cold Steel Meat Rig went 3 times. A Magna Glow Black Mamba Kingfisher/Moo Moo Big Water Meat Rig out 120 on a low wire diver went 5 times. A 300 copper with a regular Fuzzy Bear Frosted Veggie was good. We also took fish on an 8 & 10 color core and 250 & 350 coppers. We had a plug out early on a 250 copper, but it never went. We took it up north as far as the 05’s and back south to the 02’s working between 200 & 375 fow.
