We ran a two boat group charter today with the Dreamweaver. The fishing was good. We got an early start leaving the dock at 5:00 a.m. We set up north off the Bank in 130 fow. The fish were biting right away. We went 4 for 5 while we were setting lines. A pair of Dreamweaver Beefeaters down 58 ft. on an out down took our first and third fish. A 11″ White Dreamweaver Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly 100 down on the chute went and we landed a nice King on that rig. The other out down set at 70 with a pair of glow spoons went twice and we got 1 and missed 1. The morning bite was over fairly quickly. Then we just picked away the rest of the trip. Our hot rod was a 250 copper with a regular size Fuzzy Bear Frozen Veggie. It went 4 times. Our high wire divers were productive. A 10″ Mountain Dew Spin Doctor/Cold Steel Big Water Meat Rig out 220 took a couple fish and a 10″ Blue Chrome NBK Spin Doctor/Blue Thunder Big Water Meat Rig out 200 took 3 fish. We took 1 and broke 1 off on 10″ White Crush Spin Doctor/Froggie Big Water Meat Rig out 160 on a low wire diver. We took a Steelhead on a 5 color core with a Yeck Fire Ball. We had our big Paddle on the chute rigger stacked with a regular size Fuzzy Bear Ally Cat and that went twice and the Paddle went a couple more times. We fished mostly between 120 & 160 fow between the 01’s & 05’s. The fish count was pretty even between both boats but we did beat them by 2 fish. Dreamweaver caught the big one weighing 16.5 lbs., beating us out by 6 onces.
