Fishing was good today off the Bank north of Ludington. We caught a mixed bag consisting of 2 Coho, 2 Lake Trout, 1 Steelhead and 7 Kings. Our biggest King was an 18 pounder. We set up in 110 fow in the low 01’s and trolled north to the 04’s before we turned back south, working between 100 & 135 fow. We marked good fish and bait in 130 feet, but took most of our fish in 110. It was a spoon bite for us. We only had 3 meat bites and they were all on a 10″ Mountain Dew Spin Doctor/Cold Steel Meat Rig out 180 on a high wire diver. A Super Slim Beefeater on a 200 copper took 2 fish. A 350 copper with a Yeck 55 Lighting spoon went twice. We got 1 and lost 1. A glow Bloody Nose spoon with black dots on an 8 color core took the 18 pounder. The Steelhead came on a 5 color core with a Super Slim Steelie Stomper. Our big White Paddle that has been real good for us on our chute rigger never took a hit, but a regular size Dreamweaver EVM spoon stacked 10 feet above it took a nice King. Our chute was 95 down when the King hit. We took 4 fish on our out downs rigged with spoons, 2 at 65 ft., 1 at 45, & 1 at 75 feet. A regular Fuzzy Bear Frozen Veggie on a 12 color core went twice but we didn’t get either one.
