We set up a little south of Ludington in 75 feet of water. The picture on our graph was clean but we put our baits down and hoped for the best. We got off to a slow start until we moved out a little deeper. Then we started hitting a few fish. They didn’t come fast at first but it was steady action. We made a long north troll until our action slowed. We turned back south and finished up about straight out of Ludington. A 8″ Chrome Spin Doctor/Chrome Blue WirlyGig with Glow Wings started out hot on an out down and low wire diver but when it slowed we swapped it out for an 8″ Lake Trout Candy spin Doctor/Mountain Dew WhirlyGig. That combo took several fish for us this morning. The Glow Wonder Bread WhirlyGig behind an 8″ Chrome Spin Doctor only went a couple times for us on a low wire diver. When we were pulling lines a Steelhead hit a 5 color core with a Yeck Red Laser spoon.
