The northwest wind cooled the water where we fished yesterday so we ran south and set up in 90 feet of water by the Project. The first couple Trout we caught were on the small side so we tried running mixing some 10″ Spin Doctors into our spread. We were hoping the bigger blades would bring in bigger fish. It didn’t seem to mater. The smaller Trout liked the big blades too. Our biggest fish came on an out down bouncing bottom with an 8″ Lake Trout Candy Spin Doctor/Chrome Blue WhirlyGig with glow wings. We worked between 85 & 100 feet of water most of the morning. We caught a small King on a 175 copper with a Yeck Fireball. We pull our lead core and Morgan’s Tackle copper with Dreamweaver Ninja Boards.
