Fishing was slow yesterday on the Bank. The heavy fog didn’t help maters. We ended up dodging lots of boats without radar. We took three mature Kings before pulling off and heading offshore. We set up in the 00’s and 38’s and trolled west to the 40’s. We took a Steelhead and a Lake Trout and lost one other Steelie before we headed in. No fog today. It was a beautiful sunrise and not too rough. We went back to the Bank and set up in 100 fow in the 01’s and took it north. The temp was 42 degrees down 60 ft. We hit 3 fish, all Lakers, and landed 2 of them before we hit the Point. Once we got north of the Stick we started marking some suspended bait and fish. From the 03:50’s to the 07’s we hit 6 Kings and boated four of them. Our high wire diver with the White Crush Mountain Dew Spin Doctor/ Cold Steel Big Water Meat Rig out 140 fired 3 times. We also took a nice King on a 10-color core on a Fuzzy Bear Frosted Veggie. The fishing seems to be getting better. Hope the big blow tonight & tomorrow doesn’t mess thing up.
