North, south, straight out, fishing is good in Ludington! The north wind cooled the water, but not the action. We fished from the 00’s to the 04’s setting up in 120 fow. We ran the Bank down to the Point then turned out for a south troll. The surface temp was 67 in the 00’s and cooled to 54 at the Point. We didn’t have a real hot morning flurry, but the action was steady all morning. Riggers were set at 51, 65, & 75 all with glow spoons. Our high wire divers were out 135 & 150 & the lows were out 90 & 100 ft. They all had 10″ Spin Doctors/Big Water Meat Rigs baited with Erie Dearie
Premium Strips. Our hot diver set up was a 10″ Show Time Spin Doctor/Blue Moo Meat Rig out 150 on a high wire. Our high divers are a regular size Dipsy with a medium Dreamweaver ring set at 3. The cores & coppers started taking fish later in the morning. We had spoons on 8 & 10 color cores & 250 coppers. Our 300’s had 10″ Spin Doctors with Big Water Meat Rigs. The hot one was a Blue Blade Slick/Purple Haze Meat rig.
