We only had 2 fish in the box out of the 7 we hit on the bank this morning. It wasn’t our anglers fault, the fish just didn’t hook up good. They were stripping the meat off our wire divers and not getting hooked. We ended up trolling southwest from the 07’s out to 460 Fow. It was just a slow pick all morning. Our big King on the morning trip weighed 22 lbs. and took a regular Fuzzy Bear Frozen Veggie on a 200 copper. The afternoon fishing was better again today. We set up at 02:50 in 240 FOW and trolled north. We only had 3 rods set when an out down at 45 ft. with a pair of Yeck Copperheads took a nice Steelhead. We turned southeast when we hit the 04’s and our action really picked up. Our chute rigger with regular Fuzzy Bear Yellow tails down 65 took a 19 pound King and a high wire diver out 155 with a 10″ Mountain Dew Spin Doctor/Cold Steel Meat Rig took our biggest King, a 21 pounder. We took it in to 120 FOW of f the bank and trolled south. We were marking suspended bait and fish and the fish were biting. Riggers 45, 55, 65, wire divers out 170 & 140,10 color cores and 200 & 250 coppers. Based on what we are seeing tonight they should be biting in the morning on the bank.
