8-1-12 Fishing Report

Great fishing this morning. They wanted plugs early. We had Dreameaver Captains Choice Cut Plugs on out downs, a 10 color core, 200 copper & 250 coppers. Natural Glow, Green Splatter Back, Yellow Splatter Back, and Green Glow Black Ladder Back all took fish. We had a 10″ Glow Blade White Crush Spin Doctor/Green Mirage Strong Fly on the chute rigger. After the first hour we pulled our plugs off the out downs and the Spin Doctor/Strong Fly off the riggers and put Spin Doctors & meat rigs on them. We had a 8″ Mountain Dew Spin Dew /Cold Steel Big Water Meat Rig down 65 on one out down and a 10″ Black Crush Spin Doctor/Moo Moo Big Water Rig down 70 on the other. We had a 10″ Margarita Spin Doctor/Green Mile Big Water Rig 80 down on the chute rigger. Our wire divers were steady all morning. We had a 10″ Mountain Dew Spin Doctor/Cold Steel Big Water Rig out 170 on one high and a 10″ Green Blue Bubble Slick/Green Mile Big Water Rig out 180 on the other. Our low wires were a 10″ Show Time Spin Doctor/Blue Moo Big Water Rig out 130 on one and a 10″ Mountain Dew/Cold Steel out 150 on the other. We are using Erie Dearie Premium Strips with all our meat rigs. Hope they bite for us this afternoon.
