8-16-26 Fishing Report

We didn’t get the big early bite this morning. The water warmed up. We were marking fish, but they didn’t want to bite like they did yesterday. Port 250 copper went twice with a Mini Soda DW Plug. Starboard 225 copper went once with an 8″ Custom Chrome Paddle/Glow Mirage Fly. Port out down set at 60 went twice with a Mini DW Salmon Slayer Plug. Starboard out down set at 70 went once with a pair of SS Sodas. Chute rigger with an 11″ Fish Scale Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly went twice down 80 and once down 100. Port high wire Ninja Diver out 300 went once with a 10″ Dreamcatcher Spin Doctor/Ghost DW Meat Rig. Starboard high Ninja Diver with an 8″ Black Slick Spin Doctor/Isotope DW Meat Rig went twice out 185 and once out 250. Port low wire out 110 went twice and 3 times out 150 with an 8″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Starboard low wire went 3 times out 150 with a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly and 1 time out 185 with an 8″ Marv’s Fatty Green Dot Spin Doctor/Prototype DW Meat Rig. We had a few drive byes on our divers, but our crew made the most of their opportunities on the rods.
