The bite was a little better on the bank this morning but not as good as we expected after what we saw last night. We started in 100 FOW and hit a King on a low wire out 118 with a 8″ Blue Bubble Spin Doctor/Blue Fairways Strong Fly. That fish came in tough. We had to keep the boat slowed way down so our guy get him in. We hit one more in 100 ft. but didn’t get him. The Dreamweaver boat was hitting fish out in 140 so we turned out. Both starboard wire divers fired but we only got one of those fish. The water was still cold, 43 degrees down 50 feet. We worked north to the high 05’s between 140 and into 80 FOW but didn’t have much action. We took it out to 260 Fow and pretty much spent the rest of the morning trolling southeast and northwest. Overall it was a slow day. All the fish we hit were good size Kings. Our biggest today was a 21 pounder taken on a Dreamweaver Captain’s Choice Green Glow Black Ladderback Cut Plug ran on a 5 color core. We hit fish on an 7 color core with a SS Beefeater and our wire divers with 10″ Spin Doctors and Big Water Meat Rigs. Our Last fish came on a 10″ Show Time Spin Doctor/Moo Moo Big water rig on a 300 copper.
