They were biting this morning! Our boards got cleaned out early. Port and starboard 3 color cores each had a Mini Natural Glow DW Plug and went 1 time. Starboard 5 color core went 1 time with a Mini Pink Dot DW Plug and took a Steelhead later on an SS Steelie Stomper, Starboard 7.5 1 time with a Mini Soda DW Plug. Port 7.5 went 1 time with a Natural Glow DW Plug. Starboard 10 color went 1 time with a Mini Natural Glow DW Plug. Port 10 color went 1 time with a Mini Wonder Bread DW Plug. It went twice later with a 8″ White Charlie Special Flip Fin Paddle/Purple Mirage Action Fly. Starboard high Ninja Diver out 110 went once with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine DW Meat Rig. The action was hot, so we swapped out the meat rig for an 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. It went several times. Port high Ninja Diver out 120 went several times with the same set up. Starboard low wire diver out 85 went 2 or 3 times with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Port low wire diver out 80 with same set up went 3 or 4 times. Starboard out down set at 35 went once with a Mini Soda Plug. Port out down set at 50 went once with an SS Wonder Bread and a SS Half Wonder Bread free sliding above it. The King took the main bait. The chute rigger set at 40 went twice with a Natural Glow DW Plug on a 2 color core. We moved out deeper and our port 200 went twice with a standard Warrior Hot Blueberry Muffin. Port 250 copper went twice with an 8″ Closer Spin Doctor/Red Pepper Meat Rig. Our crew were experienced and helped out a lot getting fish in the boat.
