We fished north today. The morning bite was good. We had a DW Captains Choice Green Black Ladder Back Cut Plug down 53 on an out down, a 10″ Glow Blade White Crush Spin Doctor/Green Mirage Strong Fly 70 down on the chute rigger, and a pair of glow spoons 60 down on the other out down. They all took fish. We had 10″ Spin Doctors/Big Water Tackle Meat Rigs baited with Erie Dearie Premium Strips on all four wire divers. The 10″ White Crush Spin Doctor/Froggie Big Water Rig out 130 on a low wire was our hot diver again today. We had a Green Splatter Back Captains Choice Plug on a 200 copper, a Natural Glow Captains Choice Plug on a 10 color core and a 250 copper and a Yellow Splatter Back Captains Choice Plug on a 250 copper. The Yellow Splatter Back on the 250 copper was our best core/copper. The water is cooling so we will probably be fishing some 5 color cores tomorrow.
