The water warmed up from yesterday. It was 58 degrees down 40 feet on our Fish Hawk. Starboard 5 color core was the first rod to go with a Mini Natural Glow DW Plug. Starboard 7.5 went once with a Mini Pink Dot DW Plug. Starboard 10 color went once with a Mini Soda DW Plug. Port 5 color 1 time with a Mini Pink Dot DW Plug. Port 10 color 1 time with a Mini Wonder Bread DW Plug. Port 200 copper went once with a Warrior Hot Blueberry Muffin.
Port out down went 3 times set at 65 with a SS Super Glow Wonder Bread and a SS Half Wonder Bread free sliding above. Starboard out down set at 45 went 3 times with a Mini Lucky Charms DW Plug. Port high Ninja Diver out 150 went once with an 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Starboard high Ninja Diver took a Coho out 120 with the same set up as the port side. Starboard low wire took a rip out 90 with an 8″ White Slick Spin
Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. We moved out to deeper water and our port low wire diver out 120 took off with a 10″ Dream Catcher Spin Doctor/ Ghost DW Meat Rig. That one got away. So did a big fish that took our chute rigger down 125 with a Custom 11” Chrome Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. We landed our biggest King on our Starboard low wire diver out 175 with an 8″ Black Slick Spin Doctor/Isotope DW Meat Rig. One of crew got an emergency phone call from work so we had to cut the trip short and head in. We enjoyed a better bite than we had yesterday.
