9-15-11 Fishing Report

We ran a three boat charter with Capt. Shane on the Dreamweaver and Capt. Dennis on the Finwonder. The forcast called for 6 foot waves from the north but when we left the dock it was hard to believe. It didn’t seem bad at all.  We ran up north in 20 FOW and when we hit hit the point the waves were every bit of 6 foot. It didn’t take long for our crews to decide they would rather fish the calmer waters of PM Lake. We hit 2 fish before we pulled lines and haeaded back to the harbor but didn’t land either one. We marked some fish in the little lake but not a lot. We caught 3 Kings in there all on Spin Doctors and Big Water Meat Rigs. We took one out 35 ft. on a low wire with a 8″ Showtime Spin Doctor/Moo Moo Big Water Rig, one on the chute rigger at 27 ft. on a 10″ White Crush Glow Blade Spin Doctor/Blue Moo Big Water Rig and the last one on a 8″ Dark Green Spin Doctor/Moo Moo Big Water Rig. There are fish up at the Point but the big waves and high winds didn’t let us harvest them today.
