We went back up north and set up in the high 01’s in 150 FOW on our afternoon trip. There was heavy boat traffic on the shelf. We stayed on the outside for the first hour or so trolling north. We hit 4 fish early and boated two of them. The boats started thining out in the high 04’s so we slid into 110 FOW. We were marking more fish there than we were in 150. It took a little while to get our speed right. They wanted it between 2.0 & 2.2 at the ball on our Fish Hawk. We could only run our copper lines for a short time due to all the boats. A regular size Dreamweaver Beefeater on a 250 copper took a nice King and was our only spoon bite. Our out downs were set at 80 & 90 and the chute at 100. We had a 10″ White Glow Blade Spin Doctor/Froggie Big Water Meat Rig on one and a 10″ Glow Blade Spin Doctor/Blue Moo Big Water Rig on the other. A big White Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly was on the chute. All the riggers were good. Our high wires were out 220 & 240 with a 10″ Blue Bubble Slick/Cold Steel Big Water Rig on one and a 10″ White Crush Mountain Dew/Green Mirage Strong Fly on the other. Our low wires had a 10″ Glow Blade Mountain Dew/Cold Steel out 150 and a 10 Blue White Crush/Moo Moo out 160. On the south troll we tried to stay in 110 FOW but ended up getting pushed out to 140 FOW. The south troll was really good once we got south of the point. When we pulled lines we were in the low 02’s.
