The picture on the graph looked good when we set down this morning. Only had 3 rods set when the chute rigger down 80 with an 11″ DW Black Slick Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly stacked with a SS Blue Slice Fired. While we were fighting that one the starboard out down with a pair of SS Sodas 75 down took off. We boated both Kings.
We lost a nice fish on our port high wire diver out 214 with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. We took a King on our port low wire diver out 150 with a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine DW Meat Rig. We were marking fish but couldn’t get them to bite. So, we headed to deeper water. We took a Steelhead on a 250 copper with an Eyeball Man.
Took a King on an 11″ DW White Slick Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Fly down 120 on the chute rigger. Had our starboard high wire diver out 170 go twice with an 8″ Chrome White Crush Green Dot Flip Fin Paddle/ Illusion Fly. We didn’t get either one. Took a Coho on a 10 color core with a regular Orange Glow Spoon. We had SS Rasta Goose spoons on both a 250 & 300 copper take hits. We had a Yeck Gold Fireball on a 350 copper hit a fish that we fought for a while and got off.
Our last fish was a Steelhead that took a Yeck Sunshine on a 175 copper. It was a little choppy when we set lines in the morning, but the Lake laid down nice later in the morning. We had decent action and a fun trip. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire, Dreamweaver Deeper Divers, Dreamweaver Ninja Boards, and Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs.
