Less than ideal conditions this morning. We could only run 10 rods most of the trip. Three boards on a side, three riggers, and one low wire set to 3 on one side. A little later we were able to get a couple more divers out. Starboard 225 copper went twice with a UV Shelly Snack. Starboard 275 copper went one time with a Mini Lucky Charms Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. Starboard 300 copper went one time with a mag Fuzzy Bear Shelly Snack. Port 300 copper took a big King on an 8″ Prototype White Charlie’s Special Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Starboard out down set at 65
went 5 times with a Mini Natural Glow Captain’s Choice Cut Plug with an SS Soda free sliding above it. It took our last fish of the trip down 85. Chute rigger down 80 went twice with a Natural Glow Captain’s Choice Cut Plug and a SS Soda stacked 20 feet above it. It went 1 time down 90 with a
11″ Black Slick DW Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Port out down went several times down 60 with a pair of SS Sodas. Port high wire diver out 150 went twice with an 8″ White Slick Paddle/Glow Fly. Port high wire out 200 went twice with an 8″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Port low wire diver out 130 went once with an 8″ White Paddle/Glow Fly. Not sure if our crew were ready for this morning’s conditions, but they adapted and caught a bunch of nice fish. We use Dreamweaver Deeper Divers, Dreamweaver Ninja Boards, Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs, and Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire.
