A lot of plug bites this morning. With the exception of a Clown Thunderstick run behind a # 30 Dreamweaver Trip Z Diver, all the plugs were mini or full-size Dreamweaver Captain’s Choice Cut Plugs. We ran them on our riggers, divers, and 2,3,5, & 7.5 lead core rods.
We had an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly go 2 times out 60 on a high Slide Diver. That same diver went 2 more times with a full-size DW Natural Glow Plug. Port low wire diver out 45 went 1 time with a Natural Glow Captain’s Choice Plug. Starboard high Slide Diver out 70 went 3 times with a
Natural Glow Plug. Starboard out down set at 18 went 3 times with a Natural Glow Plug. Port out down set at 20 went 1 time with a Gold Fireball. Chute rigger went once down 25 with an 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Our best baits from today are pictured below. Our crew had an action-packed morning and are taking home plenty of Lake Michigan Salmon. We use Dreamweaver Deeper Divers, Dreamweaver Ninja Boards, Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire.
