Good morning for meat bites. We had 9 of them. Starboard high wire out 180 went 4 times with a 10″ White Crush Green Scale/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig. It took our last fish, a Steelhead, to limit us out at 20 fish. Port low wire diver took a fish out 80 with an 8″ White Crush Green Scale Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine DW Meat Rig. Starboard low wire out 90 went twice with a 10″ White Atomic Killer/Green Moo DW Meat Rig. A 225 copper with an 8″ Yellow Closer Spin Doctor/Custom Black & Red Meat Rig took a Coho and a 26.26 lb. King. Port low wire out 80 also went once with an 8″ Blue Slice Spin Doctor/Blue Bubble Action Fly. Starboard 3 color with a regular size UV Shelly Snack went twice. Port 5 color took a Coho on a Mini Captain’s Choice Pink Dot Plug. Starboard 5 color
went once with a small spoon. Port and starboard 7.5 color cores both had SS UV Green Jeans on them. Port went once, starboard twice. Port 10 color went once with a standard UV Green Jeans. Starboard 10 color took a King on a Natural Glow Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. Port out down set at 50 went once with a pair of UV Blue Jeans Super Slims. Starboard out down set at 45
went once with a pair of SS A-Bombs. Our 26.26 lb. King is currently in 2nd in the Ultimate Salmon Derby and tied for 3rd in the Salmon Bonanza with Overkill. The tie breaker is who weighed their fish first. That was Overkill, so we are currently in 4th. Our crew were experienced fishmen and did a good job on the rods. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire, Dreamweaver Ninja Boards, Dreamweaver Deeper Divers, and Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs.
