9-17-25 Fishing Report

First rod to go this morning was our starboard 225 copper with a Mini Lucky Charms DW Plug. Starboard 250 copper went 1 time with a Mini Natural Glow DW Plug. Starboard 300 Copper went 1 time with an 8″ Chrome White Crush Two Face Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Port 10 color went 1 time with a UV Shelly Snack. Port 250 took a King on a Mini Lucky Charms DW Plug. Port 325 copper went 1 time with an 8″ Chrome Glow Paddle/Glow Fly. Port 375 copper went 2 times with a Gold Fireball. Port high wire diver out 250 with an 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly out 250 went 2 times. Port low wire diver out 150 went 1 time with an 8″ Black Slick Spin Doctor/Red Pepper Meat Rig. Starboard High wire out 235 went 3 times with an 8″ Green Jeans Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly with Green Beads. Low wire diver out 135 went 1 time with an 8″ Live Wire Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Our only rigger bite was on the chute rigger down 90. It went once with a 11″ White Slick DW Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly and once on a SS Green Hulk stacked 15 feet above the Paddle. Our crew did a good job on the rods and enjoyed a beautiful day on Lake Michigan. We use Dreamweaver Deeper Divers, Dreamweaver Ninja Boards, Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs, and Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire.
