It was a slow start for us this morning. All rods were set, and it was light before our starboard low wire diver out 135 with a 10″ Dreamcatcher Spin Doctor/Prototype DW Little Boy Blue Meat rig took off. The fish hit and was gone. That rig did take a nice King a little while later.
Port high wire diver out 250 with a 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly went 3 times. Port low wire diver out 100 went 2 times with an 8″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Port 3 color core went 1 time with a Gold Fireball. Port 250 copper went 1 time with a Mini Lucky Charms DW Plug. Port 300 went 1 time with a Prototype 8″ Flip Fin Paddle/Glow Fly. Starboard 7.5 color core went 1 time with a Sunshine spoon.
Starboard out down went 1 time with a pair of SS UV Green Jeans. The chute rigger took a Lake Trout down 90. Not as many bites today compared to our last few trips. It was a good thing our crew made the most of the fish that were hooked up. We use Dreamweaver Deeper Divers, Dreamweaver Ninja Boards, Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire.
