Fishing Report

Another good early bite. Port 10 color went 2 times with a Mini Pink Dot Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. Starboard 225 copper went once with a UV Shelly Snack and took our 20th fish with an 8″ Green Stud Flip Fin Paddle/Illusion Fly. Port 250 copper went once with a Natural Glow Mini Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. Starboard 275 copper one time with a Mini Lucky Charms Captain’s Choice Plug. Port 300 went once with a mag Glow Spoon. Starboard 300 copper went once with a mag Fuzzy Bear Shelly Snack. Port out down set at 65 went 3 times with a SS Soda on the bottom and a SS Sportsman Special free sliding above it. The free slider took 2 of the 3 hits. Starboard out down went twice down 75 with an 8″ White Crush Foil Back DW Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly.   Our chute rigger cooled off today only going 3 times with an 11″ White Slick DW Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. It went twice at 80 & once at 90. Port high wire diver out 250 went 2 times with an 8″ White Paddle/Glow Fly. Port low wire out 130 went 1 time with an 8″ Soda Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly and 2 times with a 10″ Chrome White Crush Green Dot Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig. Starboard high wire diver out 185 went 3 time with a 10′ White Crush Green Scale Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine DW Meat Rig. Starboard low wire had the same rig out 145 and went twice. Our crew fished on the Dreamweaver yesterday, so they were ready for this morning’s action. We use Dreamweaver Deeper Divers, Dreamweaver Ninja Boards, Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs, and Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire.

Port 300 copper went once with an 8″Prototype White Charlie Special Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Port high wire diver out 250 1 time with an 8″ White Crush Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Port Low wire diver out 150 took a big King on a 10″ Chrome White Crush Green Dot Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig. Starboard high wire diver out 185 went twice with a 10″ White Crush Green Scale Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine DW Meat Rig. Our riggers took most of our fish. Starboard out down set at 55 went 2 times with a mag Fuzzy Bear Shelly Snack and a SS Soda free sliding above it. It went a few more times down 75 with an 8″ White Crush DW Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly and an SS Soda stacked 10 ft. above the Paddle. Port out down went 2 times down 65 with a Natural Glow Captain’s Choice Cut Plug with an SS Soda free sliding above it. It went several more times down 80 with an 8″ White Slick Paddle/Glow Fly stacked with an SS Soda. They took the stack a couple times. Once again, the chute rigger was our best rod. It went multiple times down 80, then down 90 with a 11″ White Slick Dreamweaver Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Our crew had their hands full with all the action this morning. They did a great job on the rods and are coming back for more early next month.
