Fishing Report

Had trouble keeping them buttoned up this morning. Took a nice King in the dark on a 3 color core with a mag Fuzzy Bear Orange Slice. Starboard 3 color went 4 times with an RV Shelly Snack. A 7.5 color core went twice with a Pink Dot Mini Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. Starboard 5 color core with a Mini Natural Glow Captain’s Choice Cut Plug went twice and later once with a Fireball. Port low wire diver took a Coho out 100 with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Starboard low wire diver out 95 went twice with an 8″ White Atomic Killer Spin Doctor/Green Moo Dreamweaver Meat Rig. Starboard high wire diver out 140 took a King on an 8″ Green Closer Spin Doctor/Green Crinkle Action Fly.  A 200 copper with an 8″ Yellow Closer Spin Doctor/Custom Red Meat Rig took a Coho. A 250 copper went twice with a Green Hulk spoon. Our group today has been fishing with us for 25 years and will be coming back next year. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire, Dreamweaver Deeper Divers, Dreamweaver Ninja Boards, and Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs.

First bites came in the dark. Port 3 color core went 3 times with a mag Fuzzy Bear Orange Slice. Port 5 color took a Coho on a Sunshine spoon. Starboard 5 color went twice with a Pink Dot Mini Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. Port 7.5 color core went 3 times with a Yellow Splatter Back Captain’s Choice Cut Plug.  Starboard 7.5 core with a Mini Natural Glow Captain’s Choice Plug took a King. Port 10 color went once with an 8″ A Bomb Flip Fin Paddle/Blue Bubble Action Fly. Port 250 copper took a King on a mag Glow Spoon. We took a King and lost a King on our starboard high wire diver out 145 with a mag Fuzzy Bear Orange Slice. Port high wire diver out 120 went 1 time with an 8″ UV Green Jeans Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly and 3 times with an 8″ Paddle/Glow Fly. Port low wire diver out 100 went twice with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly and once out 120 with an 8″ A Bomb Spin Doctor/A Bomb Dreamweaver Meat Rig. Port out down went once with a pair of Green Glow Spoons and took a big Coho down 40 with a 6″ Orange – Orange Crush Spin Doctor/Mini Blue Bubble Fly. It was a fun trip with plenty of action.
