Finally back on the water. We fished south today setting up in 110 feet of water. We had most of our rods set when the chute rigger set at 60 ft. took a bite. The 2 year old King took a regular size Dreamweaver EVM spoon stacked 15 ft. above a Spin Doctor/Fly and we landed it. It wasn’t too long when we hooked 2 Coho’s on the same rod with a pair of Super Slim Super Bread spoons on an out down. The main bait was 35 ft. down and the other was free sliding above it. We got 1 and lost the other at he net. We took another young King on a 7.5 color core with a Wonder Bread Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. The morning was starting out well. We were marking lots of bait and a few fish but our action died. We trolled out to 180 feet of water and back in to 120 feet of water with no more bites. We turned back out on a northwest troll and took a nice King on a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig out 235 on a high wire diver. While we were fighting the King we took a Laker on the bottom with an 8″ Chrome Spin Doctor/Blue Chrome WhirlyGig with glow wings. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs, Morgan’s Tackle copper on all our copper rods and Morgan’s wire on all our wire rods.

8-30-17 Fishing Report
Fished south again today. We had 15 rods set before a Coho took a Captain’s Choice Natural Glow plug on a 225 copper. It went again later in the morning but we didn’t get the fish. The big King pictured above hit a regular size DW Green Skinny Jeans on a 225 copper. We took another Coho on a 300 copper with a regular size DW Raspberry Carbon. Our high wire divers were our best rods today. The starboard high out 285 with a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig went 3 times and a 10″ Yellow Sparkler Spin Doctor/Cold Steel Big Water Meat Rig out 250 went 4 times on our port high diver. We took 1 of our bigger Kings on a low wire diver out 165 with an 8″ Chrome Killer Spin Doctor/Green Mile Dreamweaver Meat Rig. With the exception of 2 bumps on an out down set at 80 feet with a pair of DW Blue Skinny Jeans we didn’t have any rigger action. We have the next 2 days off and weather permitting will be back on the water Saturday. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs, Morgan’s Tackle copper on all our copper rods & Morgan’s wire on all our wire rods.
