We fished straight out and a little north of Ludington Harbor. We set up in 110 feet of water (fow) and trolled north. First Mate Cory was letting out his low wire diver with an 8″ Chrome Spin Doctor/Chrome Blue WhirlyGig when it got bit by a good size Coho. We put it in the net and his high wire diver out 360 with another 8″ Chrome Spin Doctor/Chrome Chartreuse Spin-N-Glow caught a Lake trout. We were off to a good start. We took a king on a Super Slim Blue UV Dolphin stacked 10 ft. above a big Spin Doctor. Our riggers ans wire divers were good fished on or near the bottom. The Lake was rough and didn’t look like it was going to lay down. Our crew was happy with their catch and called the trip early. We had good action all the time we were out.

We fished north of the Point again today setting up in 120 feet of water (fow). We had good down temp but weren’t marking many fish. We trolled north about 3 miles before we took our first fish
. Actually our first fish was 2 fish. Our out down and chute rigger got tangled and they both had a nice Laker on them. Our out down was an 8″ Chrome Spin Doctor/Chrome Blue Glow WhirlyGig with Glo Wings and the chute rigger was a big Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. We had to cut the fly leader on the Spin Doctor so we put a Tin Can Dodger/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly down on the chute rigger. It went right away so we left it on and it took another Trout and we missed one on it. Most of our fish came on our wire divers fished on or near the bottom with 8″ Chrome Spin Doctors and DW WhirlyGigs. The only fish we took off our boards was a small Salmon that took a Super Slim on a 200 copper.
