Fishing Report

We had good action this morning. Our best plug was the Dreamweaver Natural Glow Cut Plug. It went twice on a high wire diver out 110 and once each on a 7.5 & 10 color core.  A best meat rig combo was a 10″ White Crush Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig. It went 3 times on a high wire diver out 170. We caught a big King on a 10″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Spin Doctor/Green Mile Big Water Meat Rig on a 300 copper and the same set up only with a 8″ Spin Doctor took another big King on a 225 copper. A 10″  White Crush Green Scale Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig went twice on a 250 copper. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s copper on all our copper rods.

Fished north today. Lots of boat traffic for a Monday. We were all set up and almost to the Point before we had our first bite. It came on a 175 copper with a Dreamweaver Natural Glow Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. We weren’t marking many fish so we turned out in the 04’s and hit a triple. First fish was on a regular Dreamweaver Raspberry Carbon on an out down set at 55 ft. Next the chute rigger set at 70 with an 11″ Black Paddle/Blue Fairways Strong Fly fired. Then a high wire diver out 135 with a 10″ White Crush Green Scale Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig took off. Our crew did a great job landing all 3 Kings. We rode for a while before we took a big Coho on a Magnum Yeck Blue Dolphin spoon stacked 10 ft. above a Tin Can Dodger/WhirlyGig down 220 ft. on the chute rigger. We took our biggest King on a Black Mamba Kingfisher/Black UV Big Water Meat Rig on an out down set at 85 ft. The 10″ White Crush Green Scale Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig on a high wire diver went 2 more times and we didn’t get either fish. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s copper on all our copper rods.
