No early morning bite for us today. We were north of the point before we had our first hook up. When we did start hitting fish it was a plug bite. Dreamweaver Natural Glow Captain’s Choice Cut plugs were our best plugs and DW Lucky Charms Cut Plugs took a couple bites. We had them on 5, 7.5 & 10 color cores and 175 coppers. We also had one on our chute rigger set at 50 ft. We only had one spoon bite this morning. We took a couple trout on Tin Can Dodgers/Spin-N-Glos fished near the bottom. Later in the morning a 10″ Chrome Kevorkian Spin Doctor/UV On Ice Big Water Meat Rig , pictured above, took 2 big Kings 130 out on a high wire diver. We took another King on a 10″ Chrome Crush UV Yellow Dot Spin Doctor/Yellow Gasoline Dreamweaver Meat Rig on a 175 copper. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s copper on all our copper rods.

Boat traffic was heavy up north again today. Got a 5 color core with a Natural Glow Cut Plug cut off by the same boat that cut off a big King yesterday. Plugs were defiantly our best baits today and the Natural Glow Dreamweaver Captains Choice Cut Plug was our best plug. The Dreamweaver Lucky Charms Cut Plug was good too. It went 3 times on a 7.5 color core. We had Natural Glows on 5, & 10 color cores, a 175 copper, and out 120 on a high wire diver. They all took fish. After the morning bite slowed we put it on a southwest troll. We took 5 Lakers and 1 King out in the deeper water. Our Trout were suspended and came on a 10″ Chrome Spin Doctor/Chrome Chartreuse WhirlyGig and a Tin Can Dodger/Green Chartreuse Spin-N-Glow. Our last King came on a 10″ Chrome Kevorkian Spin Doctor/UV On Ice Big Water Meat Rig. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s copper on all our copper rods.
