Fishing Report

Much better bite for us today. Port 5 color core with a standard Starburst went once. Starboard 7.5 went twice with a small Pink plug. Port 7.5 went 3 times with a mag Fuzzy Bear UV Green Jeans.  Starboard 10 color went twice with a DW Natural Glow Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. Port 225 copper went once with a Natural Glow Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. Starboard 225 copper with the same plug went twice. Port 250 copper took one of our biggest Kings with a mag UV Dreamweaver Two Face spoon. All four of our wire divers went multiple times. Port high wire was out 150 with an 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Starboard high wire was out 135 with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Port low wire was out 100 with a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Starboard low wire was out 85 with the same combo as the high wire. Port out down set at 45 went twice with a pair of SS Sodas. Starboard out set at 55 went 3 times with a pair of Green Glow spoons. Chute rigger down 80 went twice with a Natural Glow DW Captain’s Choice Cut plug stacked with a SS Soda. The stack went once, and the plug went once. Our crew didn’t get much rest between bites, but they were happy with the action. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire, Dreamweaver Deeper Divers, Dreamweaver Ninja Boards, and Dreamweaver Premium strips in all our meat rigs.

We set up in the same area as we did on Saturday expecting similar results. It didn’t happen. Bites came hard for us today. A 5 color core went 2 times with a standard Starburst spoon. Port 250 copper went once with a mag Fuzzy Bear UV Green Jeans. Starboard 250 copper went twice with a mag Fuzzy Bear Soda. Port high wire diver out 150 went once with a prototype 8″ Spin Doctor/SS Orange Slice spoon. Port low wire out 130 took a King on another prototype 8″ Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. No bites on the starboard divers. Port out down set at 55 went once with a pair of SS Sodas. Starboard out down set at 60 went twice with a pair of Green Glow spoons and 1 time later down 50 with a pair of SS Rasta Goose spoons. The chute rigger down 85 went once with an 11″ White Slick DW Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly and an SS Soda stacked 10 feet above it. The King took the White Slick Paddle. Our crew did a great job on the rods when they got the chance.  We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire, Dreamweaver Deeper Divers, Dreamweaver Ninja Boards and Dreamweaver Premium Strips in our meat rigs.
