It was a little rough out there this morning. We missed a fish on a 10 color core with a Black Glow spoon. Missed another on a 225 copper on a UV Black spoon. Took a King on a 225 copper with a Natural Glow Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. Port high wire diver out 200 went several times with an 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly.
It went 1 more time out 250 later in the trip. Starboard high wire went twice at 235 and once out 265 with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/ Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Port low wire diver went 2 times out 150 with an 8″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly.
Starboard low wire out 165 went 3 times with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Port out down set at 65 went at least 5 times with a pair of SS Sodas. The top bait was free sliding. Starboard out down set at 75 went 2 times with a pair of green Glow spoons. The chute rigger down 80 went 4 times with a Dreamweaver Natural Glow Captain’s Choice Cut Plug and 2 times with an 11″ White Slick DW Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly.
Later in th trip we lowered to 100 and took a 27 lb. mature King on it. Our crew held up well in the rough water and are looking forward to fishing with us again tomorrow.
We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire, Dreamweaver Deeper Divers, Dreamweaver Ninja Boards, and Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs.

A 200 copper took a mature King on a mag Fuzzy Bear Soda. A 350 copper took a coho with a mag Black Green spoon. Port high diver out 200 went twice with an 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Starboard high wire out 185 went once with an 8″ White Slick
Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Port low wire went 3 times with an 8″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Starboard low wire never went. Port out down set at 65 went 3 times with a pair of SS Sodas. The top Soda was free sliding. Later it went 3 times down 100 with an 8″ White Crush Paddle/Little Boy Blue Fly. We never boated one of them. Starboard out down at 75 went twice with a pair of Green Glow spoons and once with a pair of SS Half Green Jeans. Chute rigger down 80 went 3 times with an 11″ White Slick Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly.
It went one time down 140, but the King took the SS Soda stacked 20 above the paddle. Our crew had their hands full and managed to
