We have been fishing basically the same area for the last several days. W set up in 160 feet of water today. the down temp at 50 feet was 43 degrees on our Fish Hawk. This was about 10 degrees colder than yesterday. We trolled west southwest and the further out we went the down temp warmed. All our rods were set before our first bite. It came on a low wire #5 Deeper Diver out 110 with a mag Raspberry Carbon. Our high wire #4 Deeper Dive out 170 with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly and our low wire #5 Deeper Diver out 80 with a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig were n
ext.
After the sun came up, we switched out the spoons on our starboard divers to Flip Fin Paddles. We had a 8″ White Slick Flip Fin/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly out 125 on the low wire and a prototype Chrome Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly out 210 on the high. Our 150 and 200 coppers both had standard DW Rasta Goose spoons on them and were good. Our 275 copper with a standard DW UV Beefeater was good too. Our crew did a great job on the rods and the weather was perfect. We had a four-man crew but two of them were camera shy. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle coppers and wire.

We had a standard Dreamweaver Spotted Blue Dolphin 55 down on our starboard out down with another standard Spotted Blule Dolphin free sliding above it. It went at least 5 times, all on the free slider. We had an 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly stacked with a standard DW Beefeater on our chute rigger down 80 feet. The first time it went the fish took it under a wire diver and it broke off. We replaced it with a pair of prototype standard DW Soda spoons. They went several times. We had standard DW Rasta Goose spoons on our 150 and 200 coppers. We took 2 Steelhead on the 150 and 2 on the 200. We lost 2 on the 200. No bites today on our 250 with the mag Fuzzy Bear Orange Slice. Our 175 and 225 copper both had Broken Nose spoons on them. The 175 went 3 times and the 225 2 times. Our 275 copper with a standard DW UV Beefeater took fish. We have been running one meat rig on a low wire diver just to keep the fish honest. It is a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig. On a lot of our recent trips, it has taken our biggest fish. Today was no exception. It went 5 times and took Steelhead, Lake Trout, Coho, and our biggest King. Our port high wire #4 Deeper Diver out 190 with a 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly was very good and so was our starboard low wire #5 Deeper Diver out 125 with a 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. We run our Flip Fin Paddles with the fin deployed. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s tackle copper and wire.
