Got off to a slow start this morning. All the rods were set and it was daylight and no bites. We turned around and finally got a bite. It was on a 7.5 color core with a Mini Pink Dot Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. We boated a King and the skunk was out. We just kind of picked away after that. Port out down set at 90 went once with a Custom White 8″ Paddle/Glow Fly. It went 2 times at 85 with a 8″ White Crush Paddle/Glow Fly. Starboard out down set at 85 went once with a pair of SS Blue Jeans. Later in the trip it went 2 times down 95 with an 8″ White UV Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. The chute
rigger went once down 80, and once down 130 with an 11″ White Crush Green Dot Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. It went one more time down 130 with a 10″ White Atomic Killer Spin Doctor/Green Moo DW Meat Rig.
That set up went twice out 185 on a low wire diver. That was it. Our crew did a great job on the rods. They went 12 for 12. We use Dreamweaver Deeper Divers. Dreamweaver Ninja Boards, Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs, and Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire.

A tougher bite for us today. We will blame it on the full moon. We had all lines set and was getting ready to clip a Ninja Board on the 225 copper when a fish hit the Captain’s Choice Wonder Bread Cut Plug. It hit and was gone. Port 7.5 color core went once with a Mini Pink Dot Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. Starboard 7.5 went once with a UV Shelly Snack and once with a Sunshine Spoon. Port 250 copper went once with a full-size Pink Dot Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. Port out down set at 60 went with an 8″ Paddle/Glow Fly and a SS Chilly Willy rubber band stacked 15 feet above it. The Coho took the
stack. Starboard out set at 55 with a pair of UV Shelly Snacks went once. Chute rigger went once down 65 and once down 80 with an 8″ White Crush Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Port high wire diver out 160 went once with an 8″ Custom White Paddle/Glow Fly. Starboard High Wire Diver out 210 went once with an 8″ Green Closer Flip Fin Paddle/Green Crinkle Fly. Starboard low wire diver out 95 took 2 Kings
on a 10″ White Atomic Killer/Green Moo DW Meat Rig. It was a little rough this morning and the bites didn’t come as fast as we like, but our crew did a good job on the rods and made the most of the fish we had on. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire, Dreamweaver Deeper Divers, Dreamweaver Ninja Boards, and Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs.
