It was rough out there this morning. We had all rods set when the starboard high wire diver out 210 with an 8″ White Crush Green Dot Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly took off. It was a King and the skunk was out. Starboard low wire diver out 150 with an 8″ Black Slick Spin Doctor/Custome Red & Black Meat Rig took another King.
Port high wire diver out 200 with an 8″ UV Green Jeans Spin Doctor/A-Bomb DW Meat Rig went once. Port low wire diver out 140 with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly went twice. A 175 copper with a Sunshine spoon took a Coho.
Took a Steelhead on a 10 color core with a Mini Pink Dot Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. Later in the morning it went again with an Orange Glow spoon. Port out down set at 60 took a Coho on a 8″ Custom Paddle/Custom Glow Fly. Port 250 copper took a King on a Michigan Shiner Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. We had a couple young passengers out there and they took the rough water like champs. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire, Dreamweaver Deeper Divers, Dreamweaver Ninja Boards, and Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs.

Port low wire diver went twice out 140 with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly and once out 160 with an 8″ A-Bomb Dreamweaver Spin Doctor/A-Bomb Dreamweaver Meat Rig. That sane rig went twice on Capt. Abe’s trip last night out 160 his low wire diver and is pictured below. Starboard high wire diver out 210 went twice with an 8″ White Crush Green Dot Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Port out down set at 60 went twice with a Natural Glow Captain’s Choice Cut Plug with a SS Half Wonder Bread free sliding above it. Starboard out down went once set at 65 with the same plug and a SS Soda free sliding above it.
We hit a big fish on a 375 copper with an 8″ Black Slick Spin Doctor/Custom Red and Black Meat Rig. It was taking out so much line we dropped both bags ins to slow down. Three rods went right away. The chute rigger down 90 with an 11″ White Slick DW Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly, our port low wire diver and our 7.5 color core.
We landed the one on the chute rigger and the one on the diver, but lost the one on the 7.5 at the net. The angler on the 375 copper couldn’t gain any ground so we backed down as slow as we could and went in and out of gear. After 45 minutes the fish popped off. We figured it was foul hooked. The chute rigger went again later down 110 with the same Paddle with a SS Half Hulk stacked 20 feet
above. The King took the stack. We took a King on a 400 copper with an 8″ Senica Special Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. We took a Coho on a 375 copper with a White Blade Charlie Special Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. After the bad start and foul hooked fish, we made a pretty good comeback. Our crew had a great time and booked again for next year. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire, Dreamweaver Deeper Divers, Dreamweaver Ninja Boards, and Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs.
