Good fishing continues in Ludington! We fished south of Ludington again today. Our best action came between 55 & 65 feet of water. All our fish came on 8″ Spin Doctors and Dreamweaver Whirly Gigs. Wire divers fished on or near the bottom took the majority of our catch. Lake Trout Candy Spin Doctors and Chrome Chartreuse Whirly Gigs on our high wire divers were hot. We took a few on Blue Chrome and Green Glow Whirly Gigs too. This fishing is Fun!
Fished south of Ludington today. It was breezy and a little cool and the fishing was good. Most of our fish were caught between 55 and 65 feet of water. Our biggest Trout came on a 7.5 color core with a Super Slim Rasta Goose spoon pictured above . It is new for this year. The rest of our catch came on 8″ Spin Doctors and Dreamweaver Whirly Gigs. The best combo for us today was a Lake Trout Candy Spin Doctor and a Chrome Chartreuse Whirly Gig on our wire divers. We took a couple fish on the Chrome Blue Glow Wing Whirly Gig but they preferred the Chartreuse today.
