We fished the same water as yesterday. Action was good and we did manage to find a mature King. We missed a big one on a 300 copper with a 10″ White Mountain Dew Slick Spin Doctor/Cold Steel Big Water Meat Rig on a 300 copper and the big King took a 8″ Chrome Spin Doctor/ Yellow and Chrome Spin-N-Glo fished near the bottom on a high wire diver. Our 2 smaller Kings came on a regular size DW Green Skinny Jeans on a 250 copper. Most of our Trout came off our wire divers with 8″ Chrome Spin Doctors trailed by DW WhirlyGigs . We worked between 90 and 120 feet of water.

We set up north of the Point this morning in 100 feet of water(fow) and trolled north. Our 1st fish came on a low wire diver out 200 on a 10″ Glow Blade Blue Bubble Spin Doctor/Blue Bubble Glow Action Fly. It was a Lake Trout. We boated 2 small Kings on an out set at 65 ft. with a pair of Super Slim UV Blue Dolphins. One came on the main bait and the other on the free slider. We took a 3 yr. old King on a 275 copper with the same Super Slim. We had steady action all morning. Most of our Lake Trout came on our wire divers fished on or near the bottom with 8″ Chrome Spin Doctors/ Green & Chartreuse and Blue & Silver WhirlyGigs. There are lots of small fish in those waters. We released 1 King and 3 Trout. The King didn’t make it but all 3 Trout swam away.
