After more engine problems than I thought were mechanically possible, we are finally fishing. We had a 5 hour morning trip tis morning. The offshore fishery has been hit or miss. The Lake Trout fishing has been steady, so we opted to Trout fish. 
We had good action all morning. Most of or fish were taken on our wire divers. We had 8″ Spin Doctors trailed by DW Whirly Gigs or Spin-n-Glos.
We took 3 Trout on our boards. Two came on a Gold Double Orange Crush on a 3 color core and we took one on a Gold Half Green Jeans. Our starboard out down set 5 ft. off the bottom went 3 times with an 8″ Lake Trout Candy Spin Doctor/Green Glow WhirlyGig. I had a hard time transferring the pictures off my phone, so I didn’t get many. Will do better in future reports. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire, Dreamweaver Deeper Divers and Dreamweaver Ninja Boards.
successful will be running some afternoon trips next season. Our 2025 book only has a few open dates in August and July is starting to fill. It is best to make reservations early if you want a prime date. Thank you again to all our 2024 clients.
