Fished with the Dreamweaver crew today. We started n the high 55’s southwest of the harbor in 80 feet of water (fow) in the warmer water and trolled ssw. The morning started out slow. We hit 2 fish early then went quite a while without a bite. The action started t pick up about 8:30. We ended up trolling east and west in the 56’s between 100 and 120 fow across the temp break that was there. On the warm side it was 54 degrees and the cold side was 44. We were hitting the smaller Kings & Steelhead on the warm side and the bigger Kings on the cold side. Our most productive rods were our 3 color & 5 color cores. Our 3’s were Super Slim Starbursts and on the 5’s were Super Slim Silver Hit Men. Our speed was on the hot side so we didn’t have much action on our wire divers and coppers with flashers & meat rigs. We only had 1 rigger bite. We took a nice Steelhead on and out down set at 23 ft. on a Supper Slim Get’er Done. It was definitely a Super Slim Day for us.
Ludington Area Fishing Reports
6-1-14 Fishing Report

Fishing continues to be good in Ludington! Nice catches of mostly Kings are being taken. We fished southwest of Ludington today setting up south of the Project in 100 feet of water (fow). The surface temp was 51 degrees where we started. We were running 2, 3, 5, 7, & 10 color cores, a 200 & 250 copper, 4 wire divers & 3 riggers. Our best cores were our 3’s, 5’s, & one 7 color. We had Dreamweaver Super Slim Starburst spoons on both 3’s, a Super Slim Hit Man and a SS Riverside on the 5’s , and a SS Wreaking Ball on the 7. We had 3 bites on our riggers. A pair of Fuzzy Bear Yellowtails down 28 took our first fish and we took 1 King and lost another on an 8″ White Crush Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly down 58. Our wire divers were very productive. Our highs were out 130 & 150 and the lows 90 & 110. We had a 10″ Yellow Sparkle Spin Doctor/UV On Ice Big Water Rig on the 130 high and a 10 ” Kevin’s Girlfriend/Green Mile Meat Rig on the other high. Our lows were a 10″ White Crush Spin Doctor/Moo Moo Big Water Rig and a 10″ Showtime Spin Doctor/Blue Moo Big Water Rig. We are now using Dreamweaver’s new Premium Strips in all our meat rigs. They are working well for us. They are cut from Ballyhoo and have a nice bright color. The King (pictured above left) and Laker (pictured above right) were two of the several fish that thought they looked tasty. Our 10 color cores and the 250 copper never took a hit. Our 200 copper with a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/UV On Ice Big Water Rig went once taking a big King. We spent the morning trolling NW & SE between 100 & 120 fow.
