We fished north today. Very heavy boat traffic, but the fish were biting. Set a 3 color core with an SS Orange Slice. While I was letting out a 5 color core with a small Double Glow plug a fish hit it. Then the 3 color took off. Two rods in 2 fish on. It was constant action after that.
Our 7.5 color cores were good. One had a standard Green Hulk and the other a small Silver Horde Pink plug. The plug went 4 times. A 10 color core with a DW Orange Slice took a fish. A 200 copper with a small Sliver Horde plug, a 225 copper with a DW Green Slice, and a 250 copper with a Modified Coyote all took fish.
Starboard high wire diver out 185 with an 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly went 3 times and once more out 210. Port high diver out 130 with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly went 4 times. It went 2 more times out 100 with a Fireball when we moved out to deeper water. Starboard low wire went once out 85 with an 8″ Senica Special Flip Fin Paddle/Green Crinkle Action Fly. Port low wire went twice out 100 with an 8″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly and 2 more times out 100 with a 10″ White Crush Green Scale Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver meat rig. Starboard out down set at 55 went twice with a pair of Green Glow spoons. It went 1 more time down85 with an 8″ Charlie’s Special Flip Fin Paddle/Liquid Sunshine Action Fly stacked with a Super Slim Metallic Glow Frog. The Coho took the stack. Port out down went 2 times down 65 with a pair of SS Soda spoons, once down 90 with a White Crush Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly, and once down 50 with the same paddle stacked with a SS Half Wonder Bread.
The fish took the stack. The chute rigger with an 8″ Black Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly went twice down 80 and once down 120. All our Flip Fin Paddles had the fin deployed. The fish won a lot of the battles today, but our crew won more. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire, Dreamweaver Deeper Divers, Dreamweaver Ninja Boards, and Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs.

Fished south today. It was a slow start for us. All rods were set, and we waited a while for our first bite. It was a small Coho on an out down set at 55 with a DW Soda. We finally had a couple boards go. A 5 color core with a small Double Glow plug and a 10 color with a small Pink plug went, and we landed both fish.
Starboard high wire diver out 185 with an 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly took a King. Later we dropped it back to 210 and it went 4 more times.

One time on the main bait and twice on the free slider. Starboard out down set a 65 went once with a SS Half Wonder Bread and a SS Half Green Hulk. The fish hit the Hulk free slider. A 225 copper with a SS Half Green Hulk took a fish. A 250 copper with a small Pink Plug took a King and a 7.5 color core with a Fireball took a Steelhead.
