We fished north today setting up in 120 feet of water. Lots of boats went north too. It was breaking daylight when we got a bite on a 200 copper with a regular size Dreamweaver Green Skinny Jeans. It didn’t hook up but a little bit later the same rod went and our first King was in the boat. The next 2 bites came on an out down set at 45 feet with a Green Skinny Jeans on the bottom and a Blue Skinny Jeans stacked above it. We got one of those and missed the other. We have been getting a couple plug bites early but didn’t get any today. We hit 2 fish on a high wire dive out 150 with a 10″ White Crush Spin Doctor/Tiny Bubbles KRW Meat Rig. Again we got one and missed the other one. We took a king on a high wire diver out 230 with a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig and a big Coho on a low wire diver with a 10″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Spin Doctor/Green Mile Big Water Meat Rig. We missed a fish on a 275 copper with a glow spoon and we hit three Lakers boating two of them on our chute rigger with an 8″ Chrome Spin Doctor/Chrome Blue WhirlyGig with glow wings fished near the bottom. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper on all our copper rods & Morgan’s wire on all our wire rods.

Went north today setting up in 110 feet of water(fow). First 2 fish came on Dreamweaver Captains Choice Cut Plugs on our out downs.  Both were big Kings. One took a Green Splatter Back set at 60 ft. and the other a Blue Splatter Back 55 ft. down. We had a knock of on the chute rigger with a 10″ White Crush Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly and a hit on a high wire out 230 with a 10″ Blue Bubble Slick Spin Doctor/Ice Cold Big Water Meat Rig that didn’t hook up. We stayed on a north troll working between 120 & 160 feet of water. We trolled about 3 miles without a bite but we kept going because there didn’t seem to be anything to turn around for. Our high wire with the Blue Bubble/Ice Cold Meat Rig out 250 took a King in the 07’s. We took it all the way north to the 09’s before we turned back south and headed home. We had good action between the 07’s & 09’s boating a Laker and 5 Kings. We had several other fish on that we didn’t get. We hit a triple in the 08’s and got 2 of them. First one was on a 400 copper with a White Crush Big Foot Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine DW Meat Rig. The second hit a high wire diver out 270 with a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine DW Meat Rig and the third hit a low wire diver out 150 with a 10″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Spin Doctor/Green Mile Big Water Meat Rig. We took a King later in the morning on that same low wire. A 10″ Chrome Kevorkian Spin Doctor/UV On Ice Big Water Rig went twice on a 300 copper and we didn’t get either one.  We put a White Crush Big Foot Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly on our chute rigger and took a King 110 ft. down. Our Laker came on an 8″ Chrome Spin Doctor/Blue Chrome WhirlyGig with glow wings on the bottom in 150 feet of water. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs, Morgan’s Tackle copper on all our copper rods and Morgan’s wire on our wire rods.
