Wasn’t too sure we would be able to leave on time this morning. It was thunder, lighting, and raining when I got up this morning. But the storm blew over, so we left at 5:00 a.m. We headed north on a 5 hour trip setting up off the Bank. The surface temp was 46 degrees and 42 down 45 feet, a little colder than it has been the last few days. Our first fish came on a 5 color core with a Gold Yeck Fireball. We took another fish on it about 10 minutes after we boated the first one.
We took 3 fish on our high Slide Divers, they both had 50 ft. leads. One was out 150 with a mag Shelly Snack
. The other two were out 125 with a Super Slim Half Bloody Nose with homemade Black Dots. Our big King came on a 10 color core with a mag Raspberry Carbon. Our second biggest King came on a low wire Deeper Diver out 85 with an 8″ DW Two Face Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. The fin was deployed. Our biggest Steelhead came on a SS Double Orange Crush on a 3 color core. Our best action was on a north troll. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire.

The port low Deeper Diver was out 100 with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. The starboard low Deeper Diver was out 85 with an 8″ Two Face Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly.
The fin was deployed. Both our Slide Divers got sawed off. We rarely got all our coppers and cores out.
Our best cores were our 3, 5, & 7 colors. A Super Slim Double Orange Crush on a 3 color took our biggest Steelhead. It was a Master Angler fish weighing in at 13.54 lbs. and was 34 inches long. Our 5 color with a Yeck Fireball went several times and a 7 color with an SS Green Hulk was good too. Our deeper coppers went a few times, but our cores were best today. Alot of our bites were Steelhead. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire.
