It was tough fishing up north today. We had to run further north than yesterday to find 50 degree surface temp. We set up in 170 feet of water and hit a nice King on our chute rigger down 80 on a mag DW Blue Hulk. That fish ended up being the biggest fish of the day. We took a small King on a 5 color core with a Yellow Skinny Jeans Super Slim. We fished up there for a couple hours and only had one more bite. There were several Ludington boats fishing the same area and it was slow for them too. We pulled lines and ran back south. We set up in 100 feet of water a mile north of the Point. We put our wire divers and riggers on the bottom for Trout and our coppers & cores out for Kings or whatever. We caught 5 Trout, 4 on riggers and 1 on a low wire diver. The all came on 8″ Chrome Spin Doctors and Chartreuse/Green Whirly Gigs.
