Went north today setting up in 120 feet of water. It was 45 degrees down 50 ft. We were afraid it was going to be tough today when we set 15 rods and no bites. We hit our first fish on a 7.5 color core with a Bloody Nose spoon and it got off. Our low wire diver out 75 with a mag Green Glow took off with a big King on. While the King was on we hit another fish on a 175 copper with a mag Bloody Nose. That one got off too, but we landed the big King pictured above. We were north of the Point in the middle of a turn when we hit another big King on a high wire diver out 175 with an 8″ Seneca Special Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. It ran under 4 of our coppers and broke off at the fly. We took a Laker on the chute rigger with a 8″ Closer Spin Doctor/Mountain Dew Whirly Gig. We turned back north before we reached the Point and took a nice King on a 225 copper with a Purple Ham Yeck spoon. We threw back an under size Trout on our chute rigger and missed a big Steelhead on a 5 color core with a Super Slim UV Black Dot Starburst.
