8-11-18 Fishing Report

Fishing was slower out deep for us today. We set up in 220 feet of water a little south of Ludington. It was 46 degrees 60 down on our Fish Hawk probe. We were all set up before our 1st bite. We took a 3 year old King on a 200 copper with an 8 ” White Crush Slick Spin Doctor/Liquid Sunshine Action Fly. We took another King on it a little later in the morning. We took a big King on a low wire diver out 85 with an 8″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. We had a pair of Super Slim Super Breads 55 down on an out down that took a Coho & a Laker. We missed a fish on a low wire out 90 with a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig. We took our other mature King on a 300 copper with a 10″ Black Slick Spin Doctor/Clear UV Dreamweaver Meat Rig. A Steelhead hit a Super Slim Get’er Done on a 175 copper. We trolled south most of the morning between 220 and 350 feet of water. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper on all our copper rods.
