Ran another p.m. trip with the same group as yesterday We had afternoon of fantastic fishing. We fished the same area south of Ludington with our best action coming in 60 to 65 feet of water. Our top rods were our wire divers. We have been running 8 inch Lake Trout Candy Spin Doctors with Chrome Chartreuse DW Whirly Gigs on the high wires and Chrome Blue with Glow Wings on the lows. We took two Lakers on 5 color cores with 6 inch Chrome Mountain Dew Spin Doctors & Chrome Blue Glow Wing Whirly Gigs. It was a fun trip with crazy good action.     

We ran an afternoon trip today fishing south of Ludington. We had good action between 55 and 65 feet of water. It was foggy and a little rough when we set up but as the afternoon turned into evening the fog cleared and the Lake laid down. Our best rigs were 8 inch Lake Trout Candy Spin Doctors trailed by Chrome Chartreuse & Chrome Blue Glow Whirly Gigs. Both are pictured below. We had the Chrome Chartreuse Whirly Gig on a high wire diver and the Blue Chrome Glow Wing Whirly Gig on a low wire diver. The were both fished on or near the bottom. We had a couple spoons out on 5 & 10 color cores but all our fish came on Spin Doctors and Whirly Gigs.
