Went to do my fishing report yesterday and couldn’t log on to my site. It’s working now so I’m posting pictures from our catch and a little info on the baits we used to  take them. We fished north setting up short of the Bath House in 110 feet of water. Lots of boat traffic and we got pushed out to deeper water. Can’t remember the details but we hit a couple fish after we were all set up. We hit 2 on a pair of  regular Dreamweaver Super Bread spoons 55 down on an out down and didn’t get either one. We took a 26 + pounder on a high wire diver out 180 with a 10″ Yellow Bikini Bottom Spin Doctor/Yellow Glow Dreamweaver Meat Rig. We lost a couple big ones. One on a 10″ UV Closer Spin Doctor/Yellow Gasoline Dreamweaver Meat Rig and the other on a UV Spotted Star Burst on a 225 copper. We had our chute rigger down 100 and took a King on a mag DW Blue Hulk stacked 10 feet above the main bait. Our 300 copper took a King on a 10″ Show Time Spin Doctor/Blue UV Dreamweaver Meat Rig. That’s about all I can remember from yesterdays trip. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s copper on all our copper rods.

We set up south of Ludington today in 90 feet of water and made one long south troll. Our Fish Hawk showed 45 degrees down 50 feet. Yesterday we had to wait a long time for our first bite. Thankfully not so today. We just got set up when we took a nice King on a 225 copper with a blue glow spoon. Next we took another mature King on an out down set at 55 ft. with a pair of regular Dreamweaver Super Bread Spoons. The King hit the slider. Then we lost a King on a low wire diver out 80 with an 8″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. No more King bites so we put 8″ Spin Doctors with Whirly Gigs on our chute rigger and low wire divers. The Trout bite was good. We left the rest of our rods King fishing and did take another big King on a high wire out 145 with a 10″ Yellow Bikini Bottom Spin Doctor/Yellow Glow Dreamweaver Meat Rig. We also took a small King on a 175 copper with a Super Slim UV Black Dot Starburst. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper on our copper rods.
