Fished north today setting up in 110 feet of water . We took our first King in the dark on a 175 copper with a Dreamweaver Natural Glow Captain’s Choice Cut Plug on a 175 copper. We took another King on it as soon as we got it back out. We took 2 Kings on our out down set at 55 ft. with a pair of regular size Dreamweaver Super Bread spoons . Our coppers were good. We took Kings on a 250 with an 8″ White Crush Slick Spin Doctor/Liquid Sunshine Action Fly. A 200 with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Liquid Sunshine Action Fly. A 250 with a mag DW UV Hulk & a 300 with a mag DW Raspberry Carbon. No high diver bites today but a low wire out 110 with a 10″ Black Slick Spin Doctor/Black Gasoline Dreamweaver Meat Rig went 3 times. We only got 1 of the 3 Kings that hit it. We lost another big King right behind the boat on our other low wire out 120 with a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig. We took s good size Trout on a Moo Moo DW Meat Rig 95 down on our chute rigger. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper on all our copper rods.

Fished south today setting up in 90 feet of water. It was just breaking light when we took our first fish, a King , on a 250 copper with a mag Dreamweaver Blue Hulk. We didn’t hit another fish until we put out Trout rigs down and found a small King riding on a regular DW Blue Hulk stacked on the chute rigger. We took a couple Lakers then took our second biggest King of the trip on a 300 copper with a 10″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig. We weren’t marking many Trout on the bottom but every so often we’d take one. Later in the morning we took our biggest King, 25.6 lbs.,  on a high wire diver out 200 with a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig. The rest of our catch were Lakers taken on or near the bottom on 8″ Spin Doctor’s and Glow Wing Chrome Blue Yellow Dot Whirly Gigs on the chute rigger and low wire divers. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper on all our copper rods.
