We fished north today setting up off the bank. Surface temp was 68.4 and it was 49.1 on our Fish Hawk at 50 feet. Took a small King on an out down set at 55 ft. with a pair of Green Glow spoons. It took the free slider. We hit a Steelhead on a 5 color core with a Double Orange Crush.
We had 2 bites on a 3 color core with the same bait. Only one diver bite. It came on a high wire diver out 150 with a standard Green Glow spoon. It was tough fishing for us today. We took a King on a 10 color core with an SS Half Wonder Bread.
We were on a north troll most of the morning but took our last 2 fish on a southwest troll. A nice Steelhead hit a mag spoon on a 250 copper. We doubled up when a King took a Fireball on a 400 copper. We were very grateful for those last 2 bites. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire, Dreamweaver Deeper Divers, Dreamweaver Ninja Boards, and Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs.
