Ludington Area Fishing Reports

We fished south of Ludington again today. The sun was shining, the Lake calm, and the fish were biting. What more could a person want? We covered quite a bit of water fishing between 45 and 70 feet of water . All of our fish came near the bottom except the Brown Trout pictured below. It took a Lemon Ice Dreamweaver Super Slim on a 3 color core. Most of our catch came on dodgers and Spin-N-Glos. We did take a few on 8″ Chrome Spin Doctors and Spin-N-Glos. Our wire divers were our best rods.

Outstanding fishing today! Our crew had a fun time fighting and landing these fish. We fished south of Ludington today between 40 and 75 feet of water. Our best rods were our wire divers. We had four of them out and they all took fish. We were using dodgers and Spin-N-Glos on one side of the boat and 8″ Spin Doctors & Spin-N-Glos on the other side. It was pretty much a tie.
