We fished north again today setting up in 135 feet of water. Chute rigger with a mag Fuzzy Bear Yellowtail stacked with a standard Fuzzy Bear Yellowtail went at 95 as soon as it got there. Just like yesterday morning the starboard out down set at 85 with a pair of standard Dreamweaver UV Beefeaters went. We couldn’t get the other rods in. The fish were all over the back of the boat. We landed both of them and got some more rods in. The UV Beefeaters went again and the port out down set at 75 with a pair of standard Fuzzy Bear Yellowtails went too. We boated one and lost one. The chute rigger fired again but we missed it. We took a smaller King on a 225 copper with a standard Bloody Nose. A mag Fuzzy Bear Green Southwind took 2 Kings on a 275 copper and a mag Fuzzy Bear Green Skinny Jeans on a 350 copper took 2 too. We started the morning with all spoons, no flashers. After the morning bite slowed we put an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly on a low wire Deeper Diver out 135 and an 8″ Closer Spin Doctor/Liquid Sunshine Action Fly out 220 on a high wire Deeper Diver. They each took a good size Coho. The pair of standard DW UV Beefeaters set at 85 on an out down was our best rod again today. The west wind made a north south troll difficult, but it was doable. We took fish on both trolls, but the north troll was best for us. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire.
